NSW fuel truckie killed

A driver of a fuel tanker near Wagga died last week after being crushed between his truck and a front-end loader.

WorkCover NSW said it was investigating the incident, which it believes occurred around 1pm last Thursday.

The driver had been working on a roadworks project on the Tarcutta Bypass when he became trapped between his fuel tanker and the loader.

WorkCover said it was preparing a report for the coroner.
