Brief details of presentation:
Prof. Helen Lingard will share current and past examples of successful Research-to-Practice outcomes achieved by the RMIT research team. Many of her examples will directly respond to actions in the draft Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy 2012–2022 Healthy, Safe and Productive Working Lives; including:
Prof Lingard has been a Chief Investigator in numerous government and industry-funded research projects and, in 2009, was awarded a prestigious Australian Research Council Future Fellowship. She frequently undertakes contract research projects for industry and government and leads a team of researchers in the construction OHS field working nationally and internationally.
