In 2007 the Victoria Division of the Safety Institute established a special website for the promotion of Safety In Action conferences and other SIA conferences and events. http://www.siaconference.com.au/ proved an important tool for the marketing of conferences and an avenue for visitors to gain more of an understanding of the long-term commitment that the SIA has had to improving the knowledge of the OHS profession.
As part of this program, visitors can join a mailing list for regular conference-related newsletters and special conference offers.
CEOS and OHS at Board level
On day one of the 2008 Safety In Action Conference, senior executives were asked to discuss how they obtained board level attention to workplace safety matters.
