About the journal

Overview

The JHSRP is an international publication of the Safety Institute of Australia. It is aimed at health and safety practitioners, researchers and students. The journal aims to:

  • Promote evidence and knowledge-based practice in health and safety;
  • Share information about health and safety interventions;
  • Share information about solutions to health and safety problems;
  • Encourage intellectual debate around propositions for improvements in practice.

All published papers have been subjected to a double-blind refereeing process by at least two referees.

The journal is distributed free-of-charge to members of the Safety Institute of Australia. Members may also access electronic copies of articles here. Published articles are available freely (open-source) here 6 months after publication.

The role of board members will be to uphold the quality of the journal through advice to the editor, monitor the value and utility of published research, assist with the evaluation and assist with the identification of reviewers.
