The SIA is the National Association for safety professionals and people who are interested in safety.
If you are interested in becoming a Professional Chartered Member of the SIA, a Fellow or a Chartered Fellow you will have the opportunity to upgrade your membership at the end of the signup process.

(1) Complete the Online Application form below
(2) Review our Terms & Conditions and Constitution & By-Laws
(3) Complete your Payment Information on the Form and submit
Apply by post
(1) Download the Membership application form
(2) Complete Part A of the form, ONLY if you wish to apply for Member (No Grading Criteria Required for Member Grade)
(3) Complete Part A and Part B of the form, if applying for Professional Member. For further assistance please refer to the checklist on the last page of the form
(4) Return your completed Membership application form together with all your relevant documentation (only if you are applying for professional member) together with your payment for the relevant amount, based on date of joining to our office.
Membership fee structure
The fee structure for new members, irrespective of their grading is $165.00 per annum. Included in this amount is an administration fee of $40.00. Fees have been pro ratad as follows:
1. July to September $165.00
2. October to December $140.00
3. January to March $115.00
4. April to June $90.00
