This SAFETY ALERT is issued on behalf of the Australian High Pressure Water Jetting Association (AUSJET). AUSJET has issued this safety alert regarding types of hose restraints due to several instances where failures of whip check type restraints have failed and injured personnel.

The 11th annual Safety in Action Conference was successfully conducted in Melbourne on 29th April to 1st May alongside a major Trade Show. It included the launch of the Victorian Code of Ethics and Minimum Service Standards for Professional Members of OHS Associations, such as the SIA.
