Applying for a Media Pass
To qualify for a Media Pass, you must be affiliated with a nationally recognised media outlet and hold an editorial title. You do not qualify for a media pass if you are a sales representative or any other non-editorial personnel.
To request a Media Pass to an Safety Institute of Australia Ltd (SIA) conference or event, please send your full name, name of publication/media outlet, editorial position, phone number and links/attachments to previous editorial or published articles to natadmin@sia.org.au
Media Passes are limited, and are granted only to working journalists who intend to cover the event. Media credential approval for previous SIA events or conferences does not guarantee approval for future events. If your request for a Media Pass is approved, you will receive an email message from us, usually within a week. This will include details for obtaining your pass.
A Media Pass entitles you entrance to all sessions and keynotes. It does not provide access to workshops, networking events or access to delegate catering.
It may entitle you trade show entry. This will be advised upon receipt of application.
Freelance Writers and Authors
Persons requesting freelance credentials must provide an article published within the past six months or a letter of assignment from a qualifying editor or publication. Those who freelance occasionally and are employed by non-news organisations are not eligible for media credentials.
