SIA is conducting a project for WorkSafe WA to develop Learning Guides,
Case Studies, Activities and sample tools for the following two units of
competency:
BSBWHS408A - Assist with effective WHS management of contractors
BSBWHS509A - Facilitate the development and use of hazard management tools
"This
is an opportunity for the SIA and its members to have a positive influence on
contactor management, risk management tools and safety outcomes," said
Keith Brown, CEO of the SIA.
We are seeking SIA members who may have some high quality examples of tools that we can use as examples in the packages.
The deadline with WorkSafe WA is 31st October 2012.
