International: Young workers - information for employers parents and educators

Does your organisation employ young workers? Or have work experience students in the workplace? Then you may be interested to know that Occupational Health and Safety Adminisation (OSHA) in the United State of America have released some information and guidance on how to support young workers to work safely and avoid injuries in the workplace. The information can be found at: http://www.osha.gov/youngworkers/parents-educators.html

Similarly, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health have updated and released a series of documents and tools to assist employers, parents, educators and young workers. These include a booklet titled Are you a teen worker? To provide information to teenagers entering the workforce and a guide for employers, parents and educators Youth Rules! For Employers, Parents and Educators.
