Background
For more than 10 years, individual SIA Divisions have formed conference organising committees, made up of SIA volunteer members, to organise successful conferences (large and small) within their States/Territories.
SIA conferences include: NT Safety Show, QLD Safety Conference, Safety In Action (VIC), SA Safety Show, Sydney Safety Conference, Visions Conference (QLD) and the WA Safety Conference. Feedback in 2010 from SIA conferences identified the need for a revision of this model of delivering conferences.
