If you work in construction you may be interested to know that SafeWork SA has released an Industry Guide for Formwork developed by the builders and formworkers in South Australia together with the SA Construction Industry OHS Committee (SA CIOC).
The Industry Guide for Formwork aims to provide guidance on formwork systems, procedures and documentation that will support the industry’s efforts to minimise the risks to health and safety arising from formwork construction. SafeWork SA advise that the guide supports and adds to the national Code of Practice for Formwork and is envisaged to contribute to the development of consistently high standards of formwork practices in the construction industry.
