WorkSafe ACT advise that changes to asbestos awareness training will be coming into effect in the ACT on 1 August 2012.
The Construction Industry Training Council (CITC), in conjunction with WorkSafe ACT, will be hosting an asbestos information breakfast to discuss changes to asbestos awareness training and answer any queries from participants.
The details for the breakfast are:
When: Monday 30 July 2012, 7:15am for a 7:30am start
Where: The Silks Room, Thoroughbred Park, Randwick Road, Lyneham ACT
Cost: $50 per person

ACT Work Safety Commissioner Mark McCabe will be speaking along with representatives from the Master Builders Association (MBA), Housing Industry Association (HIA) and the Construction, Forest, Mining, & Energy Union (CFMEU).
