Following the information last week about WorkSafe ACT and their guidance on Safe Work Methods Statements (SWMS), WorkSafe ACT, in conjunction with the HIA, is running workshops. The workshops will focus on SWMS, trying to shift the focus away from paperwork to what really matters - whether high risk tasks are carried out safely on the ground.

The workshops will include information on:
- SWMS templates
- when SWMS are required
- what WorkSafe ACT inspectors will be looking for in respect of SWMS.
