Welcome to the SIA Building & Construction Special Interest Group.
This Special Interest Group aims to develop an inclusive network of SIA Members who are interested in or involved within the various fields related to OHS and environment in the Building & Construction Sectors.
The Building & Construction Special Interest Group is provided for any financial members of the SIA to gather and discuss health, safety and environment issues relevant to the commercial, civil and residential construction and associated building industries.
This Group has the following objectives:
- Ensure healthy representation of the industry within the SIG through establishing the Building & Construction Industry Group contacts list and forums,
- Foster and build strong networking opportunities,
- Facilitate discussion on industry trends and issues,
- Encourage information, research and innovation sharing across SIG Members
- Promote SIA credibility and membership within the Building & Construction Sector.
The Building & Construction Special Interest Group Forum requires active support and participation so please participate in one of the on-line forums or the seminars organised in Melbourne.
