Welcome to the SIA OHS Education Chapter web page. The Chapter is a national Special Interest Group of the Safety Institute of Australia for those who are involved in OHS professional education, research or vocational or workplace training.
As of November 2009 the Chapter has two sub groups; the Academy of University OHS Education and Research and the Vocational and Workplace Trainers Group.
This web page provides information on who we are and what we do and introduces you to the Executives for the Academy and the Trainers' Group and the Committee of Management for the Chapter. It also provides useful information such as a Research Register and a collection of conference papers. Make sure that you look at the section on Current Projects which gives information on our current projects and activities in OHS education. You can also contribute to discussion on OHS education and training through the dedicated discussion forum.
