SIA Members are invited to register as Mentees in a new SIA Mentorship initiative, to receive free career advice, guidance and support.

The SIA Mentorship program brings together the experienced and knowledgeable with those who are eager to learn. This invaluable opportunity empowers the next generation of OHS professionals to build upon the vital body of occupational health and safety knowledge that protects Australian workers.

Since the SIA Mentorship Program launched in June, an impressive team of health and safety experts and professionals have signed on as Mentors. Now that the Mentors are in place, the Institute is accepting registrations from people who wish to be mentored.

Are you ready to hone your skills or develop your professional capability? Guidance from an experienced SIA Mentor may give your career just the boost that it needs.

Mentors involved in the SIA Mentoring program are experienced, passionate Members of the Safety Institute of Australia, who are willing to support the personal and professional development of others in the safety sector by sharing knowledge, expertise and professional experience.

The Mentor-Mentee relationship is built on mutual trust, respect and communication. We expect our SIA Mentors to listen; to be honest with feedback; and to provide relevant and appropriate support for professional development and career planning.

SIA Members who wish to take part in the Mentorship Program can now register to be a Mentee on the official SIA Mentorship website. Once you have registered as a Mentee, you will have the opportunity to select a Mentor from a list of official SIA Mentors. Each Mentor has a unique area of expertise or specialist knowledge.
